Heysham Golf Club is a parkland course situated near to the historic village of Heysham. This North Lancashire course is within easy reach of the M6 motorway via the Bay Gateway and near to the coastal resort of Morecambe and the city of Lancaster.

The Par 70 course has stunning views across Morecambe Bay to the Lakeland Hills in the North, the Pennines to the East and across the Lune Estuary to Blackpool in the South.

From the elevated part of the course there are also magnificent views across Morecambe Bay to the Lakeland Hills and the north Pennines. An unusual feature of Heysham is the number of par fours stretching more than 400 yards, of which there are seven. The club has an ongoing policy of tree planting and tee improvements and in the last few years alone around 4,000 trees and shrubs have been planted all adding to its picturesque nature. On the playing side, Heysham has a very strong junior and ladies section.

Testament to the quality of golf on offer is the fact that the club boasts the current Lancashire boys Under 16 Champion and the Ladies’ Lancashire Champion. Honorary member Gary Wolstenholme  has won The Amateur Championship twice (1991, 2003) as well as many other amateur tournaments around the world. He has played on six Walker Cup teams and is the all-time points leader for the Great Britain and Ireland side.
