This Championship Links has been in existence since 1895 as a members owned family club and proud of it. It is a traditional links out and back layout on quite a narrow site adjacent to the Gibraltar Point nature reserve in Skegness, Lincolnshire.
Adaptation to the modern game has not spoiled the gloriously old fashioned feel to the golf with tight undulating and hogsback fairways and a number of blind or semi-blind shots, seventy five bunkers and the occasional impenetrable buckthorn.
Our course is an “English Nature Site of Special Scientific Interest” where golf and the environment joins together in harmony. There are glorious views over the nature reserve, the Wash and to the distant Norfolk coastline from various holes.
Seacroft is a traditional Links following an ‘out and back’ layout along the natural dunes. Great views of the Wash and the distant Norfolk coastline can be seen from many of the back nine tees. At 6492 yards Seacroft is a challenge for golfers of all ability. Some tee shots are blind with many approach shots to well guarded greens. The coastal winds and deep pot bunkers add to the challenge. Seacroft is played off grass tees and normal greens all year round. Seacroft is a championship links and has hosted many regional and amateur competitions over the years.
