Ampfield Golf & Country Club Hampshire

We are pleased to welcome visitors, societies and corporate golfers. Located just 10 minutes drive from Junction 3 of the M27 just East of Romsey on the A3090 Winchester Road, this 18 Hole Par 3 Course is truly unique and a challenge to any golfing ability. Ampfield Golf Club was founded in the early 1960’s and was the result of the inspiration of Alan Baker and Sir Henry Cotton, one of the legendary golfers of his era.

Ampfield came under new ownership in June 2006 by the Hazell family and since then vast improvements have been made to the clubhouse, surrounding buildings and across the course itself. We believe Ampfield to be the best course of its kind in Hampshire for Junior’s and beginners alike. The many large tress lining the fairways make Ampfield a deceptively challenging course and once you have played here you will be sure to keep coming back.

We are pleased to now offer excellent Dining and Bar facilities within the Clubhouse, allowing golfers and visitors alike to come and relax in our warm and inviting surroundings and enjoy the views and great food which we have on offer. The newly renovated Clubhouse also provides an idyllic venue to hold all types of social and business functions ranging from conferences, private parties and weddings.
