At The Bear’s Paw restaurant in Cheshire we take pride in our home cooked wholesome food, awarded for its quality with an AA dining award. We use only the freshest and most seasonal produce which is locally sourced wherever possible. We aim to buy the majority of our produce directly from local farms and trawlers. For instance, our cheeses all come from a 30 mile radius, including Burland Green, Anne Connolly in Malpas and Kinnerton Ash, a lot of our seafood comes straight off the trawler of Welfish of Fleetwood in Lancashire, and our ice cream is sourced from no other than Cheshire Farm Ice Cream.
Open daily from 12 noon with a regularly changing menu, this Cheshire inn has kept its traditional charming character yet with a stylish contemporary twist featuring two open fires, reclaimed antique oak flooring and more than 200 pictures adorning the oak panelled walls.
Six real ales, all from local micro breweries, take centre stage on the bar with many various guest appearances seen throughout the year.
