Hotel Continental Kent
Welcome to the Hotel Continental, located on the beach front in Whitstable, Kent.
In 1998 the hotel was totally refurbished to provide 23 bedrooms, an open planned brasserie and fully licensed bar overlooking the Thames Estuary where there are great views of the amazing sun sets that occur in this quiet town.
The Hotel Continental also operates eight converted fisherman huts as accommodation, located on the beach. These are very popular with visitors to the town (see fisherman huts section).
Whitstable is a town deep in tradition, primarily for its Native Oysters and the variety and quality of its fresh seafood. The town is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday for couples and families alike.
The Hotel Continental offers differing room types; double, twin, double/twin for sole occupancy as well as rooms for families. Cots and extra beds are also available upon request.
All of the rooms vary in size and view and are priced accordingly. All rooms have a TV, en-suite bath/shower, direct dial telephones and include a Full English Breakfast in the morning.
All hotel bedrooms are non smoking. Check in is from 3pm and check out is by 11am.
The Hotel Continental is very popular with visitors, especially through the summer and holiday periods. It is wise therefore to book your stay as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
The hotel has its own Bar and Bistro set out over three ground floor rooms.
