The Castle Co Cork
Castle Townshend has been the seat of the Townshend family in Ireland for many generations. The centre part was built around 1650. The original Castles were destroyed in the 17/18th Centuries. The two towers were then added to the present Castle, using the stone from the ruined Castle. It stands in spacious grounds facing southeast, overlooking the peaceful waterfront of Castletownshend harbour.

Or, alternatively, the Castle Gardens, a 5 bedroom house set in quiet courtyard.

First floor – 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are ensuite with shower room, bathroom.
Second floor – 2 twin-bedded rooms and shower room.
Outside there is a patio to the rear and a grassed area to the front.

B&B Accommodation in the Castle.
There are 7 guest bedrooms that are let out for bed and breakfast. These are all ensuite with bathroom or shower room and most of them have lovely sea views.
