Matt and Roxy offer a warm welcome at this 17th Century barn nestled in the picturesque Wye Valley.

Orles Barn dates from the 14th century when it was one of a number of farm buildings on this site. The only surviving part of the original structure is the former apple store. The low wall that edges the front lawn is the remains of a long building in which wooden clogs were once made for locals and passing workers.

Orles Barn offers four charming rooms that feature Laura Ashley wallpaper and fabrics and Farrow & Ball and Little Green colours, which are named after locally grown apple varieties, each with modern en-suite bathrooms and comfy beds.

Each room has tea and coffee-making facilities, a hair dryer and an ironing board is available on request.

We have two bridal suits, one with a separate dressing room, sofa and beautiful starlight ceiling above the feature free-standing bath.

Enjoy a relaxing drink in our cosy Lounge before indulging in our contemporary dinner menu using locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce.

Orles Barn Restaurant is open to guests and non-residents.
