A privately owned 3 star country house hotel the Woodlands Lodge is ideally situated on the edge of the New Forest just 3.5 miles from The New Forest Golf Club. The Hotel is perfectly placed to explore the forest, which can be accessed directly from the hotel gardens, visit the city of Southampton, or the many local museums and gardens. Of course if you prefer you can just sit back and relax and unwind with us in the Hotels picturesque setting and let us spoil you.
Our aim is to provide a welcoming and informal atmosphere in which you can fully enjoy the luxury and charm of the Woodlands Lodge and the Forest.
Woodlands Lodge Hotel has 4 designated suites & a junior suite, each have their own special features; one has its own garden with access out into the main grounds, perfect for enjoying the summer sun.
The Suite in the eves is perfect for a family with a spacious seating and living area with duel aspect.
The Junior suite has a gorgeous conservatory with access into the main garden.
Featuring flat screen TV’s in the lounge and the bedroom, the lounge area also contains iPod docking stations. These rooms are ideal for couples and families alike.
All Standard Luxury rooms are comfortable and spacious with many affording beautiful views over the garden and forest.
The luxurious Deluxe Double rooms offer traditional charm, with two rooms having their own charming period gas fires.
These rooms are larger than our standard luxury rooms and all have views over the garden and New Forest.
The lovely Four Poster rooms have four poster beds and a balcony or conservatory with views over the garden and forest, one of our four poster rooms offers a working gas fire for a romantic stay.
Whilst staying at the Woodlands Lodge Hotel come dine with us in our gorgeous Hunters restaurant, which has been awarded an AA Rosette for culinary excellence.
The restaurant looks out over the mature gardens and forest where you can enjoy dining in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. It is the perfect setting to dine after a day of exploring the area.
The bar is open all day and leads onto a stunning south facing conservatory that gives panoramic views across the garden and forest beyond. It makes the perfect spot to relax and unwind with a tea or coffee and read the paper or just take in the magnificent setting. Alternatively join us for a pre dinner drink or cocktail after a busy day exploring the area.
