Cricklade House, formally Cricklade Hotel & Country Club was purchased by Ambienza hotels in August 2010. This is the latest hotel to hit the portfolio which includes the ultra chic Cotswolds88hotel in Painswick, just a 30 minute drive from Cricklade House.

Standing in over 30 acres of peaceful, secluded grounds on the edge of the Cotswolds, the privately-owned Cricklade House offers a traditional, warm and friendly welcome for those in search of tranquility, comfort, good food and wine, with extensive recreational facilities.

Our challenging 9-hole E.G.U. registered Golf Course, comprising of Par 3’s and Par 4’s, will allow low and high handicappers the opportunity to use every club in the bag. The 9-hole course is ideal for those seeking a shorter course after work or with limited time to play. For those seeking to hone up on their skill and technique the course provides a challenging round with panoramic views across the Wiltshire Downs.
