Whitchurch Cardiff Golf Club Vale of Glamorgan

Whitchurch (Cardiff) Golf Club lies three and a half miles north of the City of Cardiff. The Clubhouse and Golf Course are situated on elevated ground overlooking Cardiff City, with Penarth Head prominently visible and the Somerset Coast and Bristol Channel completing a grand panorama.
The course is sheltered from the north by the Wenallt Hills and guarding these hills stands Castell Coch, an historical thirteenth century castle, reconstructed into a fantastical folly. This forms a picturesque setting at all times of the year.

The Golf Club was founded on 24th July 1914 and has developed into a fine eighteen hole parkland course with superb greens. The course is noted for its testing par fours and par three holes. The first hole requiring steady nerve to negotiate the water feature in front of the green.
