A very warm welcome awaits you at Tosson Tower Farm Holidays located near the village of Rothbury in Northumberland and offering traditional farmhouse B&B or self catering holiday cottages.

We offer a range of superb holiday accommodation, be it our traditional farmhouse Bed and Breakfast or one of our well appointed self catering holiday cottages all located on a working farm in an idylic situation at the foot of the Simonside Hills with views extending to the Cheviot Hills beyond. 

Our Northumbrian holiday accommodation is of the highest standards and provides the ideal base from which to explore the county and all its attractions – from the relaxed pace of Rothbury Village, the sights of Cragside House and Gardens and the spectacular new Alnwick Garden. Northumberland is a county with something for everyone! 

We offer 7 double and one twin room located in the Farmhouse and at the newley developed Millrace Barn. All ensuite and appointed to the very highest standards and equiped with everything you need to make your stay in this beautiful area as comfortable as possible. 

The farmhouse is a traditional Northumbrian sandstone house built around 1800. It is situated in the hamlet of Great Tosson with a spectacular outlook to the Cheviot Hills. Guests have exclusive use of the well appointed lounge which is an ideal place to relax after a days exploring. 

You have the choice of either two double en suite bedrooms with extra large beds or a twin bedded en suite room, all decorated to the highest standards, each with colour TV’s and hospitality trays. 

Millrace Barn:

Truly offering the very best of both worlds – Exclusive and independant accommodation in this exceptional conversion of traditional farm buildings – combined with the convenience of breakfast served in the newly developed conservatory located in the farmhouse.

Sit in the beautiful private courtyard garden and enjoy a glass of wine watching the sun go down over the hills – unforgettable!

After a peaceful nights sleep what could be more inviting than the smell of fresh coffee or tea and a delicious farmhouse breakfast served in a relaxing atmosphere in the recently developed Breakfast Conservatory – complete with surely the most spectacular view you’re likley to get at breakfast time!

All of the cottages are situated on a working sheep farm sitting at the foot of the magnificent Simonside Hills, and offer spectacular views of the Coquet valley and Cheviot Hills.

Each cottage has it’s own unique character and all are appointed to an extremely high standard to ensure your stay in Northumberland is as comfortable as possible. Cots and highchairs are available for any cottage.
