Thorpe Hall Golf Club Essex
Despite being located just outside Southend-on-Sea, the course at Thorpe Hall Golf Club has not been laid out in a links style. On the contrary, it is set upon some truly luscious parkland turf that is quite springy in places, and so can add a few vital extra yards onto your drives. One of our Club’s claims to fame is that it is the original Club of Sir Michael Bonallack, previous Secretary of the R & A, who arguably was the finest amateur golfer of his day. Two large plaques in our Clubhouse record all his very many successes.
Our Club is proud of its traditions and the quality it brings to our members and visitors alike. We invite you to enjoy our website and try all our facilities. To find out more you can read on or, if you are already a member of Thorpe Hall Golf Club, register ‘on line’, as we move forward into our second century of quality golf and social activities.
