Brentwood Club Essex

We are pleased to announce that from the 1st November 2013 the club is now under new ownership. The club has been purchased by a local businessman, Mike Seabrook whose primary business is warehousing and distribution. We would like to confirm the new Brentwood Golf Club has no association with any of the previous owners.

We understand that each course has its heritage; however there has been too much negativity with the Weald Park / South Weald names in recent years. This is a new era for this wonderful club and we felt that it needed a fresh start. As from the 1st November the club will be named as Brentwood Golf Club.

It is important to have a strong dependable team. We have recruited Russell Phillips as General Manager. Russell’s experience at running events/club at Woolston Manor will be invaluable to the success of this club.

In addition, we have also retained Keith Estell as our Head Green Keeper. Keith’s understanding of the course is second to none. His relationship with past and present players is very special and we expect this to continue.

We have also recruited an additional two permanent grounds keepers to help Keith restore the course. One of which was assistant green keeper at Woolston Manor.
In addition, we are actively looking to recruiting an Assistant Pro to help with the day to day activities.
