The Swan Hotel Shropshire

The Swan Hotel is a family run business, owned by Chris and Barbara Witton for over 30 years. They strive to ensure a welcoming, friendly atmosphere to all guests. The Hotel is located on the edge of the famous small market town of Wellington and its location makes it an ideal base for touring the beautiful county of Shropshire or whilst visiting on business.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Wrekin Hill, and a superb 18 Hole Golf Course which has panoramic views over the Shropshire plain.

Telford Town Centre and Park is just 10 minutes by car with its Ice Rink and Exhibition & Tennis Centre and many other attractions. The M6 south is only a 25 minute drive away. 

We have 12 bedrooms with colour TV, radio alarm, tea & coffee and most with en suite bathrooms.

There is a large private car park is at the rear of the Hotel. 

Christopher’s Restaurant, has an ever changing menu which uses the finest local produce wherever possible. All food is homemade and prepared by us on the premises. We offer a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes together with an excellent wine menu. 

Our luncheon menu is served from noon until 2pm with an excellent daily specials menu. Luncheon is available, Monday to Saturday, served from the carvery. Our evening menu is served from 4pm to 9pm.

Bar meals are also available. Monday to Saturday Noon until 9pm. 

In the bar, we have a large choice of drinks and each month a Guest Beer, also in the bar we have a pool table and dart board for your enjoyment.
