Dunnanelly Country House is a substantial country house set in 80 acres of natural fields and woodland and is located just 3 miles from Downpatrick, County Down, Northern Ireland.

The house is just half a mile from the main road and is totally secluded with stunning views of the Mountains of Mourne to the south, and Slieve Croob to the west. All rooms overlook the beautiful wildlife pond, fields with dry-stone walls and the magnificent mountains beyond.

Belfast International Airport is just 35 miles (approx 1 hour) away, and Belfast George Best City Airport is 22 Miles (approx 40 minutes).

We are ideally situated for your golf break, boasting twenty six golf courses within twenty miles of our country house.

There is adequate private and secure parking, Garden with terrace and outside furniture for guests use, Garden walks, Billiards Room, Croquet lawn, Boulles pitch and Kennels. 

Bedrooms:

The Yellow Bedroom: Emperor bed with en suite Bathroom with bath and separate walk-in shower.

The Fuchsia Bedroom: Emperor bed with en suite Shower Room.

The Blue Room: 3′ twin beds with exclusive Bathroom with large bath and separate walk-in shower.

The Turquoise Bedroom: Double bed with en-suite Bathroom large bath and shower.

The Green Bedroom: King bed and single bed with en-suite Bathroom with large bath and separate walk-in shower.

The Royal Blue Bedroom: King-size bed and single bed with en-suite Shower Room.

Breakfast is served in the Dining Room, traditionally furnished with antiques. Full Irish and Continental breakfast options, including home-made preserves and home produced honey!

• The Billiard Room offers an additional room to relax in, with wood-burning stove and darts board.
• Food is locally sourced/ organic/ Fair Trade wherever possible.
• Special diets can be catered for: please give advance notice.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the house, in keeping with the current law.
• Dogs welcome outside only, kennels are available.
