South Herts Golf Club benefits from a range of first class facilities: a mature 18 hole 6432 yard par 72 main course, a 1582 yard par 28 “par 3” short course, a practice ground with a number of covered practice bays, and a comfortable and well-appointed club house.
Originally arable farm-land, an almost continuous programme of tree-planting over more than a hundred years has produced an undulating wooded landscape that is as attractive to look at as it is challenging to play.
We think that these facilities, together with our attentive and efficient staff make South Herts Golf Club an outstanding environment in which to enjoy the game whether as a member, a visitor or as part of a Corporate or Society golf day. Visitors are always made welcome at South Herts.
They may play the Vardon course throughout the week, but availability of tee times will depend on club activities so it is advisable to telephone in advance to confirm availability. A handicap certificate is required to play the Vardon Course, but visitors are welcome to play the Rees Course at any time without needing to provide proof of handicap
