When visiting the pretty and historic village of Mayfield in East Sussex, there can be nowhere more perfect to stay than the comfy farmhouse of Lower Crabb B and B. A warm welcome will greet you when you arrive at our relaxed and friendly family run b and b.

We are ideally situated for your golf break with eight golf courses within ten miles of Lower Crabb.

Set in a quintessentially English country house. A quiet, comfortable and welcoming home set in 5 acres of beautiful garden, paddock and orchard. Arrive in time for a tea of homemade cakes by an open log fire.

Lower Crabb guest wing has recently been redecorated. The bedrooms are light and airy, furnished with a very English country, vintage style. The bedrooms have lovely views of fields to the nearby village. The beds are piled high with vintage quilts and pillows. Our bedlinen is dried on a washing line to smell of the fresh air. Tea and coffee, complimentary sherry are in every room. Hot water bottles, for an old fashioned touch and extra wool blankets are folded at the foot of your bed.

The Stables Annexe and Hidden Cottage.

The historic village of Mayfield is a lovely place to visit with it;s beautiful church and enticing old high street full of tempting shops. There are several good local pubs too.

Lower Crabb is just half a mile south of the village. Easily located on the 267 between Mayfield and Five Ashes village. Also conveniant for coastal visits to Brighton(35minutes by car), Eastbourne and Hastings.
