The Coach House is divided into two separate apartments, the ‘Arabella’ being on the ground floor and the ‘Emilia’ being on the upper floor. Each apartment houses two large bedrooms with one double bed and two single beds in each room. There is a fully equipped kitchen for self catering use and a living/dining area with TV. There is one bathroom, with a shower and toilet. Outside of the apartments is a shared patio area with additional tables and chairs offering far reaching views. Ample car parking is available.
Our accommodation is very versatile and ideally suited for family getaways or golf breaks. We are within a few miles of a variety of local attractions, such as the stunning beaches of Ogmore, Southerndown and Barry Island and also situated between the Market Town of Cowbridge and Cardiff City Centre, where you will find stunning boutiques, shops and have plenty of things to see and do. An ideal place to entertain the whole family!
Directly within the Golf Resort, guests can have access to the Clubhouse with bar and restaurant, also the snooker & pool room. The Pro-Shop will be happy to book you in a golf game or set you up on one of our state of the art sports simulators where adults and children can play a variety of indoor sports.
Cottrell Park is also home to a welcoming restaurant, Merrick’s Restaurant, with a tempting menu to suit all appetites, Merricks Bar and a vibrant Sports Lounge, all of which are open to members and non-members alike.
Enjoy a drink with friends, family and fellow players in our welcoming bar. With a wide selection of wine, beers and spirits there’s a tipple of choice for everyone.
If you’re looking for a bite to eat then there is an extensive and tasty bar menu to tempt you, available throughout the day.
There really is nowhere better to get together and discuss the finer points of your game, than in our sports lounge.
With stand tables and chairs as well as two generously sized televisions complete with Sky Sports, the lounge has a laid back, informal appeal.
Providing the perfect spot to kick back after a hard day’s work or play on the course, the 145-cover restaurant offers delicious dishes in a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. Providing fine-dining cuisine, seven days a week, the restaurant is open to both members and non-members, offering a diverse, seasonal menu alongside daily specials.
Offering panoramic views across the Vale and set against the backdrop of our beautiful, manicured gardens, the restaurant and outside patio area are the perfect place to relax, review your performance on the course or just join your friends and family for a drink or bite to eat. Plus the kids are catered for too with our children’s play area!
