Royal Norwich Norfolk

Royal Norwich is a traditional members club and visitors will be assured of a warm welcome from its members and staff. Golf Societies are very welcome, together with individual golfers wishing to take advantage of the club’s very competitive green fee structure.

Royal Norwich Golf Club was founded in 1893 and Royal patronage was granted in the same year by the Duke of York. The club is rightly proud of its golfing history having produced its own Open Champion, Arthur Havers, and it continues to produce golfers of a high calibre.

The course is situated just 3 miles from the centre of the City of Norwich (see our Contact Us page) and is rarely closed for play due to its excellent drainage. It is a challenging 18 hole course with stunning views and is fair test for golfers of all abilities.

The “Fine City” of Norwich offers many visitor attractions such as the Cathedral and Castle, together with excellent shopping facilities. The Norfolk countryside offers a wealth of attractive locations to visit for those seeking a break from golf.

We are pleased to accept society and corporate bookings at a concessionary rate. These rates will apply to a group of 12, or over, excluding Members of RNGC, who book prior to their day of playing.
