Haverhill Golf Club Suffolk
Haverhill Golf Club in Suffolk is perfectly located 20 miles east of Cambridge, 17 miles south west of Bury St Edmunds, 18 miles north of Braintree and some 30 miles north west of Colchester. The club offers easy access from major routes including the M11, A11, A14 and A120.
The 18-hole course, lying across two valleys, is set in pleasant parkland on the Suffolk, Essex border with views across rural Suffolk and Essex. The front nine with its undulating fairways is admirably complemented by a saucer shaped back nine which is bisected by the River Stour as it meanders through a course with greens reputed to be among the best in the county, and presents a challenge to members and visitors alike and the course is a popular venue for visiting clubs and societies.
Visitors are welcome to play at Haverhill GC on any day, and can be sure of a friendly environment to enjoy a challenging round of golf. You do not have to be a seasoned golfer to spend a pleasurable time with us enjoying a day to remember.
There are four tees to each hole on the course which, you will find, will provide interesting challenges for golfers of all abilities, the white tees extend the course to over 6,000 yards and the blue, Parklands, tees provide access to the course, and golf more widely, for the novice player. We do ask all players to observe the rules of golf and regulations of the club to ensure good pace of play. If you require help or advice on any aspect of this, please check with the Pro Shop or Office at the time of making your booking.
Green fees vary depending on the time of year and the day of the week with cheaper rates available at certain times and as the seasons change. Junior visitors are welcomed and have access to very competitive green fee charges.
Buggies may be hired, as can pull and electric trollies, all from the fully stocked Pro Shop that is equipped with all that you may need for a full day’s golf.
