Moggerhanger Park is a Grade 1 listed Georgian Historic House set in 33 acres of parkland and woodland. It is recognised as the most complete surviving example of Sir John Soane’s architecture and is set in stylish grounds and woodlands sculpted by Humphry Repton.

We are perfectly situated for your golf break with thirteen golf courses within ten miles of Moggerhanger Park.

Moggerhanger Park offers a country house bed & breakfast experience in peaceful surroundings. We are delighted to offer beautifully situated bedrooms combining modern equipment with period furnishings fitting a Grade 1 listed historic house.

Our 22 rooms are available to book throughout the year and are perfect for wedding parties, corporate event attendees or just those looking for a relaxing break away in a beautiful country bed and breakfast located in Moggerhanger, Bedfordshire.

What could be better than waking up in a beautiful stately home, gazing across the grounds while you get ready for your day and then making your way down to the Old Servants’ Hall to indulge in a breakfast of locally sourced foods. Breakfast is included in some price plans, or is available to residents and non-residents for a fee.

The rooms include 2 superior rooms and 2 disabled rooms with wetrooms on the first floor (There is a lift). A further 10 double, twin and single bedrooms are located in the old Servants’ Quarters on the second floor of the main house. In the adjacent Grooms’ House, there are 2 ground floor rooms suitable for people with limited mobility, as well as 2 dog friendly rooms with flagstone floors. The first floor of the Grooms’ House provides 4 additional bedrooms, which can also be configured as a sitting room and up to 3 bedrooms and kitchen suitable for longer term stays.

All of our rooms have a TV, an iron (on request), hair dryer, free WiFi , dry cleaning services and tea and coffee facilities.

The orchard tearooms

Open 10am – 4pm

Located just past the Walled Garden next to the Woodland Playground.

Serving tea, coffee, cakes, ice cream, treats and a light lunch. Children’s menu available as well as our children’s lunch boxes.   

Either take the woodland walk from the car park or the Walled Garden path and find The Orchard Tearooms at the end of the path. 

The Education Room at the back of the Orchard Tearooms houses an exhibition of the history of the House and the original Thornton family.
