The Rowton Poplars Hotel Cheshire

You will find us in a pleasant corner of Cheshire’s idyllic countryside. We are surrounded by renowned walking routes (such as The Sandstone Trail) and we have a choice of sixteen golf courses within ten miles of the hotel.

Two years ago our hotel was refurbished, we have kept many of the building’s original features as well as modernising and creating new spaces. Our 14 stylish rooms are all en-suite and come with a flat screen tv, tea and coffee making facilities, speedy Wi-Fi and free parking. We can also provide hairdryers, irons and ironing boards upon request. Our hotel suits all, whether you’re a couple, a family, a group of friends or travelling for business.

Our large and recently extended beer gardens are also home to our outside bar (stocked with all your favourite alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), Bubble Barns and Wigwams! The beer gardens are in use 12 months of the year – hail, rain or shine.

Here at The Rowton Poplars, we are all about serving fresh food and quality drinks, in a relaxed and friendly environment. This can be enjoyed in our bar and restaurant, extensive beer gardens, and our quirky dining facilities … the bubble barns and wigwams.

Our stylish Bubble Barns are designed to keep you warm and dry with our log burners and heaters and are fully sheltered … putting a spin on dining alfresco! Our Bubble Barns are beautifully decorated and create a private space which is exclusively yours. Each Bubble Barn seats up to 6 people and are for diners only, they are home to toe-tapping tunes and a great atmosphere, and if required you have the option to nip in and out of the vast beer gardens.

Our wigwams are fully sheltered, with fire pits and heaters … so there is no need to worry about being chilly! We have a total of three wigwams, and each one contains three tables of 6. Our wigwams can be hired out for larger events, or are perfect for smaller tables who are looking for somewhere with a relaxed atmosphere.

P.S … Dogs are welcome in both the Bubble Barns and Wigwams.

Our dogs love a holiday too! We have dog friendly rooms available, located on the ground floor which have their own doors to outside (meaning you have a private entrance and exit). Please note that dog friendly rooms can only be booked over the phone, and extra charges apply.

We have hosted many special events here at The Pops, such as weddings in the wigwams, live bands in the beer gardens, wakes, anniversaries and much more … all areas, both indoor and outdoor, can be tailored to suit your event. Whatever the occasion, we are here for you.
