Oakmere Park Golf Club, Oxton, between Mansfield and Nottingham is rated as one of the best golf course in Nottinghamshire, designed by Frank Peninck.Two free draining heathland courses, known in the area as the ‘the all weather course’. We welcome and cater for golfers of all levels, from the beginner and occasional putter, to some of the best players in the region.
Our 18 hole course, named after Admiral Sherbrooke V.C., consists of 6739 yds (white tees) of rolling, undulating terrain, with a par of 73, sss 73. A pleasant relaxing walk with ponds and the Dover Beck meandering through the course coming into play on some of the holes.
Named after Commander Mortensen,it is a championship length course of 6376 yds with a par of 72. There are 18 separate tees to 9 greens which are known as the Commanders courtse layout but also nicely combine with the 27 hole card. Much care and time has been invested in the natural heathland landscape with trees, gorse and hedgerow to establish an interesting and challenging layout.
By retaining the natural character of the original farm buildings, which house the clubhouse facilities, a truly special off course environment has been created. Our restaurant offers everything from tea and toast to bar snacks and an extensive dinner menu. It caters for all occasions from the club disco to a wedding banquet, seating up to 150 people.
