BURNLEY GOLF CLUB – Glen View as it is known locally celebrated its Centenary in 2005 and stands proudly on the fringe of Habergham Eaves Moors.

It’s a course which James Braid designed and it is said that he made excellent use of the rolling countryside. The course is still laid out as the 5 times Open Championship winner James Braid designed it “The course is fair but challenging”

Glen View is situated looking down on the town and Turf Moor home of Burnley FC. In the distance Pendle Hill stands proudly and looking beyond Pendle you can see the ‘Three Peaks’ of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent, on a very clear day the Lakeland hills come into view.
