Ghyll Golf Club Lancashire
Founded in 1907, the lush but well-drained and wooded parkland course affords both easy walking in the main and excellent but challenging golf throughout the year.
Situated in the Parish of Thornton-in-Craven on the Yorkshire/Lancashire boundary and equidistant from the former textile towns of Barnoldswick and Earby, the club takes its name from the adjacent 12th century church of St. Mary-Le-Ghyll. The golfer enjoys panoramic views both of the nearby Pennine hills and the distant Yorkshire Dales to the north.
