The Little John Hotel Derbyshire

The Little John Hotel is becoming renowned as Derbyshire’s ‘Craft Beer Hotel’ and provides an excellent base for climbers, walkers and other visitors. We have 12 comfortable ensuite bedrooms and 2 self catering cottages.

We are perfectly situated for your golf break with seven golf courses within eleven miles of The Little John Hotel.

We openly welcome dogs into the inn, most guest rooms and the cottages.

The Little John offers comfortable, competitive accommodation in the centre of Hathersage providing an excellent base for climbers and walkers. We have 10 double ensuite bedrooms (dog friendly), 2 deluxe double ensuite (sorry no dogs) which include breakfast & 2 self catering cottages (dog friendly) breakfast not included.

Hathersage is easily accessible via both road and rail. At the heart of the community is The Little John Inn, named after the legendary companion of Robin Hood. Whether or not you believe the stories of the merry men dressed in Lincoln green, you can believe in the warm welcome, excellent accommodation and wonderful food awaiting you when you come to stay with us!

The Little John serves traditional home cooked food, available all day.

Alongside traditional pub classics and our specials board, we offer a selection of stone baked, hand stretched pizzas and assorted burgers.

Homemade puddings are also a favourite at the Little John.

The Little John prides itself on an exciting range of Craft Beers & Cask Ales.

3 cask ales constantly changing from the best breweries in the local area. Currently 4 x ever changing craft keg lines served in 1/3s 1/2s and 2/3s including Imperial IPA’s & Stouts and exciting new beers. In addition we have 3 draught lagers including a locally brewed Helles Lager (Lukas), draught cider and Guinness.

Selection of fine wines and prosecco also available.

Holiday Cottages Hathersage

This local inn, built in the 19th Century, was renamed the Little John by the villagers in 1947, and recently refurbished to provide food and accommodation for holiday makers, walkers and the general public.

Dogs welcome in both cottages, self catering only, breakfast not included.
