Huddersfield Golf Club West Yorkshire

Huddersfield Golf Club West Yorkshire

Huddersfield Golf Club is one of the oldest and finest championship golf courses in the North of England.

The home of the Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs, Huddersfield offers all a warm welcome, a fair test of golf, followed by good fellowship and excellent cuisine served within the elegant but comfortable rooms of Fixby Hall.

The club is situated within 1 mile of junction 24 of the M62, equidistant from Leeds and Manchester. The Grade II listed 18th Century clubhouse and the location makes Huddersfield the ideal venue for corporate and society golf days, business meetings and product launches.

Laid out in two loops of nine holes, both starting within 80 yards of the clubhouse, the course offers a wonderful variety of golf played on springy moorland turf. The greens, recently upgraded to USGA standards offer the best chance of play throughout the year. There are some wonderful panoramic views and on a clear day it is possible to see more than 40 miles from the marker post on the 18th fairway.
