Sandford Springs Golf Club Hampshire

You’ll find Sandford Springs in a particularly beautiful part of Hampshire and set between the historic towns of Newbury and Basingstoke. Opened in 1989 by successful Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher OBE and six times major winner Nick Faldo MBE, Sandford Springs was always going to be a great venue. But with the addition of a further nine holes in 1991, the 27 hole course is now something really special. Designed by Hawtree & Son, The Lake, The Park and The Wood Courses are three very different 9’s.
There’s something for everyone at Sandford Springs. We have a well-stocked pro shop with all the top brands of clubs, balls and golfing apparel as well as a custom club fitting service and a PGA professional on hand to help you with your game – should you need it!
You can use our facilities for business meetings or conferences and you can even get married here as we’re licensed to hold civil weddings and can cater for up to 80 guests in our Octagon Suite which is elevated and has stunning views over our 220 acres of golf course. We can seat up to a hundred people in the Rosamund Restaurant which is where you’ll find many of our golfers enjoying a hearty breakfast, lunch or dinner.
