Sidcup has been a private members club since 1891.
The 5571 yard course (par 68) is set among mature oaks in the suburbs of Sidcup. The course is an easy walk and consists of 9 holes with 18 tee boxes.
Many of the holes have water hazards on them which makes every round very challenging.
The atmosphere at Sidcup is friendly and relaxed with a lively social calendar. Competitive and Social golfers are well catered for with numerous competitions arranged throughout the year both within the club and against other clubs in the area.
9 hole golf is becoming more and more popular with those people who just don’t have time to fit in 18 holes, at Sidcup you can do as you please.
Non-members are welcome individually or in a group at certain times, by prior with the Secretary. Normally there are no tee time bookings and a smart casual dress code applies.
At Sidcup we are proud to have a new clubhouse which sits overlooking the 9th Green and adjacent lake, while the course is professionally managed under the guidance of the Sports Turf Research Institute agronomist Charles Henderson.
