After playing a starring role in the ITV drama Midsomer Murders, the Dog Leg Murders, Chiddingfold is now 25 years old and has matured into a fabulous test of golf. Chiddingfold was designed by golfing legend Peter Alliss and laid out by Jonathan Gaunt, one of the best course builders in the business.
Set in the picturesque Surrey village of Chiddingfold and built to a USGA specification the course has now matured to become one of the most popular days out in Surrey. The course is tricky but not long and the clubhouse although not the biggest serves freshly prepared food all day including the famous full Chidd breakfast.
After a brief tumultuous history, since 2013 the course has been in the excellent and qualified hands of PGA professional golfers Phil Stevens and Scott Brown. It was this dynamic team that brought the neighbouring Cowdray Park Golf Club to it’s glorious place as first choice for the best golf in the South East.
Chiddingfold Golf has been developed over the last seven years as a thriving centre of great value golf and hospitality…. however bad your golf is!
