Established in 1892 with two 9 hole courses. In 1922 the Club settled at its present 18 hole course at Innerwyke; a place once described as “charming, peaceful and rustic spot”. James Braid planned the course and F G Hawtree constructed it.
Within easy reach of the sea and with views of the South Downs, the course presents a challenge for the ablest of golfers; its fairways being divided by a mix of hedges, trees, streamlets and the whole being bounded by a waterway, the Aldingbourne Rife. The newly refurbished flint-walled barn Clubhouse and extension contain a well-stocked and welcoming bar and dining room and exemplary changing facilities. A two-table snooker facility is always available.
Although Bognor Regis Golf Club is a private members club, we are able to accept bookings from visitors and societies. Please note that as we have a full membership, there is only very limited availability for visitor and society bookings.
We will predominantly only book societies in to play on Thursday’s however, we do have some scope to look at other midweek days depending on society size and preferred time of play.
We do not take any society bookings for weekends and we only take visitor bookings after 1 pm on weekends.
