Copthorne, a lovely old course set in attractive woodland, has been a private members club ever since its founding in 1892. Situated half way between East Grinstead and Crawley and only five minutes from Junction 10 on the M23, the Club is very accessible but also offers a haven away from the hustle and bustle of life in the area.
The length of the course is 6,435 yards with a Par and Standard Scratch Score of 71. The course is tree lined and requires good course management in order to play to your handicap; it is always presented to a high level so if you play well then the course will play its part to let you score well. If you need further convincing then please visit our club website where you can click on the ‘Course’ section and see every hole in detail with a hole map, photograph and editorial of how each should be played.
Copthorne is only a 10 minutes car drive from Gatwick and an ideal venue for anyone wanting to play golf before they go abroad so if you are going to play golf before an overnight stay then Copthorne Golf Club is a must!
