18 hole, 6002 yds, par 71, parkland course built in 1989. Precision is definitely more important than power right from the offset, the slight left-dogleg opening hole swiftly followed by a 345 yard par 4. Both have plenty of timber either side of the fairway and require deadly accurate drives.
Standing on the Par 5, 9th tee you can stand back and enjoy the superb panoramic views of the Purbeck Hills and Poole Harbour which really are breathtaking, before attempting to place your drive down a narrow corridor with Out of Bounds all down the right hand side! The 14th 338 yard par 4 is yet another challenging hole! After overcoming the dogleg you are faced with a short iron to the green with a pond strategically placed immediately behind.
