You may soon be marveling Tigers perfect swings in the Cotwolds as the Manor House Hotel unveils its new look golf course

Recently awarded the coveted HSBC Gold Star Award 2006 and having attracted the likes of Colin Montgomery and Luke Donald, golfers are now able to tackle a thoughtfully lengthened course bringing many new features into play and creating a challenging Championship course that is ready to host a professional event.

“We have actually built five new tees and have resurrected three others which were already there though not in regular use. There’s some stunning tee shots and none more so than the opening drive.” Says Mark Sealey, Golf Director at the course.

‘The course has also been re-sequenced providing the ultimate golfing experience for all ages and abilities. Add that to other significant changes such as refurbished driving range with hand cut target greens, a USGA spec teeing ground and also a starters hut, this course has been re-ignited and is worthy of challenging the worlds top golfers’ he adds.

The newly re-ignited Manor House Golf Club now has a course at a length of 6500 yards and is one of the most spectacular and challenging 18-hole par 72 golf courses in the South of England.

It was recently awarded the coveted HSBC Gold Star and voted within the top 15 courses in Today’s Golfer.

Originally designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, it is located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, nestled in the Cotswold countryside bordering the beautiful village of Castle Combe.

With close links to Bath, Bristol and Swindon, the course is only a ten minute drive from the M4 and just one hour’s drive from London.
