Originally called “The New Inn” The Forester has been a public house since the 17th century. The beautiful olde thatched building is made from greensand stone. Inside The Forester still retains that olde world feeling with the large inglenook fireplace, stone walls and original beamed ceilings.

Both of our stunning beautiful boutique rooms are ensuite.

Large First Floor En-Suite Room available as a King or Twin, also has the option of a sofa bed so suitable for a small group/family.

Sherborne

Large First Floor En-Suite Room with available as a King or Twin, also has the option of a sofa bed so suitable for a small group/family. The main bed is on a mezzanine with 3 steps leading down to the lounge area and bathroom.

All our food is made fresh, on the premises by our very talented Chefs. We locally source all our ingredients where possible.

Our country style function room is an ideal setting for a beautiful wedding reception, a heart warming celebration of life, entertaining birthday party or even a skittles party. We also accommodate business conferences with projector and screen hire.
