Naturally crafted out of the historic drumlins of Down, St. Patrick’s Golf Club, Downpatrick is a classic and challenging parkland course, boasting spectacular views of the county, including the Mountains of Mourne, Strangford Lough, and as far as the Isle of Man. We are indeed the Heart of Down!

The course comprises: 5 par 3’s 11 par 4’s 2 par 5’s Mostly boasting spectacular, panoramic views of Co. Down including the Mountains of Mourne, Strangford Lough and even the Isle of Man, on a clear day.

Created amongst the rolling Drumlin hills, the course with its undulating fairways, strategically placed sand traps and quick but true greens, makes the course a testing, yet pleasurable, challenge to golfers of all abilities. The course plays host to the annual Heart of Down Golf Tournament in September.
