Established in 1928, Headfort Golf Club is one of the finest parkland complexes in the Country. Boasting a 36 hole layout, both courses have beautiful trees which enhance this picturesque setting.
Headfort Old Course: The Old Course is one of the finest examples of a long established, mature challenge with its large selection of trees gracing the fairways, and greens to die for!
Headfort New Course : A fantastic, modern Course which criss-crosses the River Blackwater makes use of two islands. Headfort House, built in 1780, and mature trees provide a stunning backdrop to some of the holes.
Designed by Ryder Cup hero Christy O’Connor Jnr. At 6,515 metres, it is ranked in the Top Ten Irish Courses. All your golfing skills will be fully tested by this Course. It is hoped to host the Irish Open Championship here in the near future.
