It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and breathtaking scenery with hill and sea views from Bray Head and the Sugarloaf to Wicklow Head. Originally designed by Harry Vardon, the golf course has recently been remodelled by Patrick Merrigan with sand based greens and tees to USGA specifications without losing its natural charm and tradition.
Delgany Golf Club prides itself on the Facilities and Services it provides for its members and visitors alike and is renowned for its warm hospitality . The redeveloped Clubhouse offers excellent and modern Bar, Restaurant, Function & Meeting Room facilities with unique panoramic views of the course, surrounding hills, sea and Delgany Village.
The club also has strong associations with the Ryder Cup. It is the only golf club in the world to have produced four Ryder Cup players in Harry Bradshaw, Jimmy Martin, John O’Leary and Eamonn Darcy.
The nearby Wicklow Mountains are home to several major sights such as the monastic complex of Glendalough and the magnificent gardens of Powerscourt.
