Powerscourt Golf Club Co Wicklow

Just half an hour south of Dublin, set in breath taking surroundings of one of the finest estates in Europe, Powerscourt is one of Dublin’s premier golfing centres.

West Course: This new course was designed by David Mclay Kidd. Like the East the West offers a variety of challenging holes presenting a fresh perspective on the stunning scenery of the Powerscourt Estate.

East Course: Following the contours of this mature and historic landscape, the talented golfer and successful Walker cup captain Peter McEvoy designed a testing and rewarding challenge for all levels of golfers.

Powerscourt estate has been owned by the Slazenger family since 1961. It is renowned for its magnificent gardens and the highest waterfall in Ireland. In the early 90’s an 18 hole championship course within the 1000 acre estate was conceived.

Former Walker Cup Captain Peter McEvoy was commissioned to design the East course which opened in 1996. Following on from the success of the East course the West course opened in 2003; designed by David McLay Kidd.

Today we have a very active club membership with approximately 900 members between the Mens & Ladies clubs
