Shoreline Hotel is a hidden gem nestled on the peninsula of Donabate, a small coastal village in North Dublin. The hotel sits on a beautiful 4km stretch of sandy beach which is ideal for a morning walk or a day well spent, or perhaps a swim in the Irish Sea.  Our newly refurbished bedrooms offer spectacular views over this beautiful beach, and further along the coast towards Malahide and Howth Head.  Lambay island, the largest island off the East coast of Ireland also lies in the sight of the hotel. 

Staying at Shoreline Hotel is like nowhere on Dublin’s coastline, our view cannot be beaten! All the character and charm of a boutique hotel hideaway, served up with heart-felt personal service and a casual beachfront setting. Within our 35 bedrooms we have 4 categories, comprising of our newly refurbed rooms with either a double bed or a double and single (Superior Room Categories), and our family rooms are those more spacious traditional rooms (Standard Room Categories). 

Unfortunately not all of our rooms overlook the sea, but we are so lucky that half of them do. So if you really want to be assured you wake up to the beautiful seascape, please be sure to choose either a Superior Sea View Room or a Balcony Room. Our Garden Rooms are on the seaside with ground floor access to our terrace but do not necessarily have a sea view (but you will hear the beautiful sound of the waves). We cannot guarantee upgrades will be available on the day, so we recommend that you book the room type you desire, you won’t be disappointed. Rest assured, there is plenty of beach and sea to be seen when you enjoy a stay with us, from every space in the hotel, its truly breathtaking.
