Horse & Jockey Lincolnshire

A traditional and friendly town centre public house, situated in the heart of Gainsborough and believed to date back to 1748.  We serve a wide range of draught lagers, ciders, spirits, bottled beer and other alcoholic and soft drinks to suit all tastes. 

The Horse and Jockey has Freeview TV throughout the premises, and hosts karaoke DJ entertainment every Friday and Saturday. We have a pool table, jukebox, dart board and fruit machines – with free pool and jukebox available at selected times during the week.

We are perfectly situated for your golf break with five golf courses within fourteen miles of the Horse & Jockey.

The Horse and Jockey offers 5 letting rooms at reasonable prices, ideal for those on a budget, and both for overnight leisure trips or longer-term business or contractor bookings.

We offer a combination of ensuite and non-ensuite rooms in both a single and double room format (all single beds).

We have rooms available 364 days a year and do not charge a premium for weekend/weekday bookings or for busier times of the year. There is also no minimum booking period and we offer a fully flexible cancellation policy up to 2 days prior to the start of the booking.

All rooms benefit from a TV, sink and tea and coffee making facilities, with a communal microwave and fridge provided free for guests in the hallway. Free high-speed WiFi is available in the bar area and in the rooms.
