Aberdour Golf Club Fife
Aberdour is situated just six miles southeast of Dunfermline in the delightful region of Fife; lies some 30 miles south of St. Andrews and on the shores of the River Forth. St. Andrews is known throughout the world as the ‘Home of Golf’ and where the origins and rules of the game of golf were developed.
This beautiful 18 hole parkland golf course, established in 1896, has hosted the Scottish Under 14’s and Under 16’s Championships, the LGU Ladies Coronation Foursomes Area Final, the Roselle Pro-Am, Barnardo’s Scotland Charity Golf Days and a host of other large corporate and charity events. The golf course is situated 45 minutes from St Andrews, half an hour from Edinburgh Airport and 50 minutes from Glasgow.
From a golfing perspective St. Andrews may arguably be the golfing centerpiece for golf in the Kingdom of Fife but throughout the Kingdom there are a number of golfing ‘Jewels in the Crown’. One of these is Aberdour.
