Ardeer Golf Club Ayrshire

Ardeer Golf Club is an exceptionally pleasant, rolling and well-appointed parkland course with hundreds of small, blossoming trees routed along the fairways and a babbling burn crossing in front of the greens.

In playing the course, it is a lot more demanding than it appears. The 9th and 11th greens have recently been improved and are both exceptional holes playing across the “babblin” burn. The 9th is easily reachable from your second shot but the 11th at stroke index 1, is best approached from a lay-up.

Directions: From A78 ex Greenock Proceed round three towns by pass, past the course on the left to Morrisons roundabout. Take first exit signposted Kilwinning. Take first left immediately after Fire station Left at T junction, right after crossing the by pass, first right and then right again. From Kilmarnock via Irvine By-Pass At Morrisons roundabout take 3rd exit signposted Kilwinning and follow directions as above. From A737 (Glasgow/Kilwinning) After leaving Kilwinning heading for Greenock, before you get to the Morrisons Roundabout look out for the fire station on your right and turn right immediately before the fire station and follow directions as above.
