Barlaston Golf Club Staffordshire

Barlaston golf Club nestles alongside the River Trent just south of Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. It is about 1 hour drive from Birmingham or Manchester. Designed by Peter Alliss in 1977, Barlaston Golf Course is described as a little beauty. Many societies from the West Midlands, Liverpool and Manchester have already discovered Barlaston when looking for a break.
The course, a par 68 over 5,800 yards long, never plays the same on morning and afternoon rounds, so don’t expect an easy day.
Take a look at some of the Super Challenges that face you in the rolling meadow land at Barlaston. OK! Nearly forgot to mention the water. It’s there to greet you between the Second and Fifth, and is no friend to the slicers, hookers, or wayward drivers. It’s not just the Trent to the left, but the ponds and ditches you meet on the way. Now, we come to the hard part, SWAMPY !!!!
