Founded in 1913, Baxenden Golf Club is set on a rolling hillside on the Hyndburn- Rossendale boundary, Baxenden boasts a 9-hole course to be proud of. It offers a challenge to golfers of all abilities and is an excellent choice for parties or single golfers alike. Different tee positions on the back 9 give a variety to white tees. The competition length is 5734 yards, SSS 68, with a par of 70.
From the outer reaches of the course there are splendid panoramic views of the Ribble Estuary and the Pennine Hills of Ingleborough and Pendle.
