Cairndhu sits just off the world famous Antrim Coast Road, four miles north of the ferry port of Larne on the outskirts of the peaceful seaside village of Ballygally. The club has a reputation as a warm, welcoming and friendly place with an excellent bar, function room and Professional’s shop along with the best catering in East Antrim.
Our course is demanding yet fair and boasts arguably the best views in Ireland; from the rugged Glens of Antrim across to the Mull of Kintyre, the Paps of Jura, Southern Scotland and the Ailsa Craig. Over the years some of the world’s best golfers have graced Cairndhu’s fairways including Major champions, Nick Price and Ian Woosnam, European Tour winners, Mark McNulty and Roger Davis, and Irish Ryder Cup stars Christie O’Connor (both Senior and Junior) and Philip Walton.
