Castlegregory Named as Kerry Course of the Year in The Kerryman Newspaper. Kerryman golf correspondent Ger Walsh had this to say in his end of year Honours List….”I am going to single out Castlegregory for special mention. I was there to cover the West Munster final of the Jimmy Bruen between Dooks and Ballybunion and I had not been there for three or four years previously. I really had forgotten what a lovely course it is and on the day it was in great shape and presented a wonderful challenge to both teams”
