Cawder Golf Club is located in Bishopbriggs, just 15 minutes from Glasgow city centre. Cawder nestles in a most beautiful piece of countryside where golfers can enjoy the relaxed surroundings whilst experiencing our stunning courses.
At Cawder, we are fortunate to have two outstanding James Braid-designed courses, namely The Cawder and The Keir, both of which have been renowned for many years for the speed and true running of their greens. Both courses are home to a wide variety of wildlife, including deer and buzzards.
Memberships at Cawder are available for all members of the family, namely Gents, Ladies, Youths and Juniors, with Coaching and Practice facilities to suit all standards of golfer, ably backed by our team of PGA professionals.
Visitors are most welcome at Cawder. We can organise the whole day, including full catering. We are delighted to help with nearest the pin, longest drive and other similar competitions, and if something a bit more special is needed, eg halfway house, video shoot — this can also be arranged.
Our clubhouse is a category ‘A’ listed building. It boasts many original features and a visit to the clubhouse to view the magnificent ceilings and fireplaces is a ‘must’. There is a wonderful dining room with an adjacent lounge overlooking the 18th green. The clubhouse also has a smaller, more intimate Oak Bar and a large airy members’ lounge with huge windows again overlooking the 18th green as well as the 15th tee. Meals, from simple golf fare to fine à-la-carte dining, are also available.
Cawder warmly welcomes new members and visitors. Please take this opportunity to contact our Secretary on 0141 7611281 who will gladly arrange your visit.
