The Golf Course is a testing 6289 yards and with a par of 71 is a genuine challenge for all handicaps. The ever maturing course was opened in 1992, has its own natural drainage and has rarely closed in its first decade. With Draycote Water lapping the 13th hole, stunning views can be found all year round on the long and truly pleasurable hole.
The signature hole is surely ‘Curlies Corner’. This hole has no room for error. At 184 yards from the medal tee, the green, surrounded by water, has ruined many a good card. The 15th is also a nerve tester, at just 257 yards par 4 and aptly named ‘Temptation’ it has water on both sides of the hole, which needs a good drive and nerve to reach the green from the tee.
Other golfing aids at the club include an 18 hole putting green, a 16 bay floodlit driving range and a practice chipping and bunker practice area. Showers and changing rooms are available within the Draycote complex.
