Dufftown golf club’s 18 hole course is to be found one mile south of Dufftown on the B9009 Tomintoul Road. One hour drive from Aberdeen and Inverness Airports.
The course is set in the heart of the Whisky distilling Speyside area among the hills. Every hole has different playing tactics due to the undulation of the Course and has wonderful scenery from every fairway. The 9th tee is one of the highest above sea level in UK being 1294ft above sea level and the clubhouse sits at 795ft. The 10th tee has a magnificent view of the town and has a vertical drop of 339ft from tee to green.
Both the 7th hole, short – 67 yards and the 10th feature in Britain’s 100 Extraordinary Golf Holes published by Geoff Harvey and Vanessa Stroweger, the Club are very proud of this honour. Visitors return regularly to enjoy this amazing Banffshire Golf Course set amongst hills, heather and distilleries.
